Today's surprise is...
SUPER NOVA MAGAZINE!

If you've read issue 7 of Noisy fanzine you'll be well aware of our trip to sunny Brighton back in May to put on a gig and photo exhibition as part of the city's Fringe festival. In between working hard we managed to cram in some shopping, and discovered one of Brighton's many groovy alternative shops, The Ampwitch Emporium full of clothes, music, accessories and zines, it's well worth a visit if you are in the area; and, since they agreed to stock Noisy earlier this year, we love them even more!
Could Ampwitch get any cooler? Yes it can! They have recently launched their own free zine, Supernova which can be picked up in print from their shop or downloaded for free as a PDF document. To download the debut issue Visit their myspace page, and click on the download link. Packed with band profiles, gig reviews, news and exclusive interviews with Nina Antonia (Johnny Thunders biographer), Berlin band Ojo Rojo and The Backyard Babies; the content covers alternative, punk, classic rock but really, they aren't interested in genres - if they think it rocks, it's in. Sounds like a formula for a successful mag to me!
For a print copy (and some cool shopping) visit the shop at the following adress: Ampwitch, 22 Trafalgar Street, Brighton, BN1 4EQ, England.
