Today's surprise is...
RIZZO!

A few years back, one band who rocked Noisy's socks was Rizzo - as cool as their Grease namesake, we first heard this female-fronted four piece at the Kelvedon Festival in 2006 and later Colchester's Twist venue, and were so impressed with their excellent angsty indie tunes we invited them to play Noisy Night 3 back in May 2007 - to our delight they accepted and below is a video of the brilliant tune Bulletproof, complete with some dodgy zoom efforts courtesy of our resident video person!

We have no clue if Rizzo are still together, but you can still hear a few of their lovely, lovely tunes on the band's myspace page. (The photo above was taken at Kelvedon Festival 2006, by Sophia).
